Terms & Conditions for Public Courses
In placing a booking for a Public Training Course with Batalas Limited you agree to accept the Terms and Conditions below:
1 Bookings
1.1 Places are limited and delegates will be registered in strict order on receipt of booking. .
1.2 A booking can be made either by completing an online booking form, by phone or by email. Regardless of booking method these terms and conditions apply.
1.3 You agree that you are authorised by your company to make a booking with Batalas Limited, and that your company have agreed to pay for the training course in full, including any accommodation as appropriate.
1.4 All course fees are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate and include all course documentation, lunches and refreshments.
2 Accommodation
2.1 If requested Batalas will reserve your overnight accommodation at the hotel venue for the period you indicated. The cost of the accommodation will be included in the invoice that we send to you. Failure to pay our invoice (also see 3 Payments) will mean that you will be responsible for the payment of your hotel accommodation directly when you check out.
3 Payments
3.1 An invoice will be raised (including all course fees and accommodation if requested) and sent via email approx. 3-4 weeks before the course start date. Payment can be made by cheque, bank transfer or credit/debit card. Full details of how to pay will be included on your invoice.
3.2 All invoices must be paid prior to the course start date, unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing by Batalas. Failure to pay before the course may mean that you are not allowed to attend the course.
3.3 If you require a purchase order number to be added to your invoice please let us know as soon as possible.
4 Cancellations
4.1 All cancellations must be confirmed in writing. Cancellations received in writing less than 30 days but more than 15 days before course start date will receive a refund of 50% of course fees. Any cancellation received less than 15 days prior to course start date shall not receive a refund.
4.2 A delegate may request a transfer to a later course up to 15 days before the course start date, subject to the following: if the request prevents a course from running, or should additional costs be incurred by Batalas, then these will re-charged to the delegate, to a maximum of the full course fee. Any transfer request received less than 15 days prior to the course start date shall not receive a refund. Only one transfer request per booking allowed.
4.3 We will accept the substitution of delegates at any time up to the start of a course.
4.4 Batalas Limited reserves the right, at its discretion, to cancel or postpone courses at any time. If a course is cancelled and an alternative date is not suitable, fees will be refunded in full. Batalas will not be liable for any expenses incurred by delegates other than the course fee paid.
4.5 If you need to organise transport to the venue that may incur any costs directly to you, please check with the Batalas Limited office before making any booking to ensure that the course is running, as Batalas Limited cannot be held liable for any expenses incurred.
5 Certificates
5.1 Certificates are issued for certain courses, please see specific courses for details.
5.2 Results of training courses and certificates of attendance/completion will not be released until full payment is received.
Terms & Conditions for In-house/In-company Courses
In placing a booking for an In-house Training Course with Batalas Limited you agree to accept the Terms and Conditions below:
1 Bookings
1.2 You agree that you are authorised by your company to make a booking with Batalas Limited, and that your company have agreed to pay for the training course in full, including trainer expenses or other fees as appropriate.
1.3 All course fees are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate and include all course documentation, lunches and refreshments.
2 Payments
2.1 An invoice will be raised and sent via email approx. 3-4 weeks before the course start date. Payment can be made by cheque, bank transfer or credit/debit card. Full details of how to pay will be included on your invoice.

If Batalas have booked hotel accommodation for our tutor(s) specifically for your in-house course and is non-refundable, this amount will be payable by the client at cost.
3.2 All postponements must be confirmed in writing. Postponements received in writing less than 30 days before course start date are chargeable in full unless Batalas are able to fill the training dates with another training course.
4 Certificates
4.1 Certificates are issued for certain courses, please see specific courses for details.
4.2 Results of training courses and certificates of attendance/completion will not be released until full payment is received.
Terms & Conditions for Online/e-Learning Courses
In placing a booking for an e-Learning Course with Batalas Limited you agree to accept the Terms and Conditions below:
1 Bookings
1.1 A booking can be made in a variety of ways, such as, completing a booking form, by phone or by email. Regardless of booking method these terms and conditions apply.
1.2 You agree that you are authorised by your company to make a booking with Batalas Limited, and that your company have agreed to pay for the training course in full.
2 Payments
2.1 Within 24 hours of the booking (48 hours at weekends) an invoice will be raised and sent via email. Payment can be made by cheque, bank transfer or credit/debit card. Full details of how to pay will be included on your invoice.
2.2 If you require a purchase order number to be added to your invoice please let us know at the time of booking.
2.3 All invoices must be paid before you can gain access to the purchased e-learning courses (“the products”), unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing by Batalas.
2.4 The product is licensed for a limited time period, appropriate to the e-learning content. No refund will be provided if the licence period expires before completion of the course. It is your responsibility to ensure that the course is completed within the license period. If you do not think this will be possible, then you can apply for an extension of the licence, at an additional cost.
2.5 We reserve our right to review and change the pricing of any of our products. This will not affect products that have already been purchased but may affect future purchases.
3 Grant of licence
3.1 In consideration of your payment, we will grant you a licence to use the purchased products. This licence is limited to 30 days, revocable, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable and non-transferable, and is subject to the rights and obligations granted under these Terms. This licence is personal to you and cannot be shared or exchanged with others.
3.2 The starting date of your licence to the products is deemed to be the date that you first have been granted access.
3.3 The end date of your licence to the products is 30 days from the start date, or the date of course completion, whichever is sooner.
3.4 We will take all commercially reasonable steps to provide you with uninterrupted access to the Products. However, your access may be restricted from time to time for reasons beyond our control. Such reasons include force majeure events, power outages and actions from computer hackers and others acting outside the law. Your access may also be interrupted due to software issues, server downtime, increased Internet traffic, programming errors, regular maintenance and other related reasons. Where this is the case, we will take commercially reasonable steps to restore your full access within a reasonable period of time. ‘Commercially reasonable’ in these terms shall mean reasonable efforts taken in good faith, without an unduly burdensome use or expenditure of time, resources, personnel or money.
